Proof of Reserves · new

Show the reserves. Every round.

A Proof of Reserves feed reads balances straight from Robinhood Chain: a token's total supply, the ETH or ERC-20 held by up to five wallets, or the ratio of the two. Every validator makes its own RPC reads on schedule and signs what the chain says, and the result goes live as a POR: feed in the stream, the API, tunnels and BeamReceiver.

01

Pick what to prove

Supply of a token, balances held by wallets, or reserves divided by supply.
02

Validators read the chain

Each validator calls totalSupply, balanceOf or eth_getBalance itself.
03

Contracts check it

getPriceNoOlderThan("POR:…", 600) returns the signed value, 8 decimals.

Register a reserve feed
Fill in the addresses and press Read. The server reads the value from Robinhood Chain before you sign.
How a reserve ratio reads
A ratio feed divides what the wallets hold by a token's total supply. A stablecoin with 1.0000 or more is fully backed by what its reserve wallets hold on Robinhood Chain right now; contracts can refuse to mint, lend or settle below a threshold.
(int256 r, uint64 ts) = IBeam(BEAM)
  .getPriceNoOlderThan(bytes32("POR:USDX-RATIO"), 600);
